I have two undergrad degrees–one in Marketing and Management and one in Human Physiology. I also spent over 10 years running a successful business as a Licensed Massage Therapist, and about 4 years ago began working towards my Doctorate in Physical Therapy…However, two years into the three year graduate program,  I found myself incredibly burnt out and realizing it just wasn’t for me. This also happened to coincide with the onset of covid, which gave me time to slow down and self-reflect.

Long story short, I quit grad school, and my husband and I sold our home of 17 years in Spokane and bought a place here in Suncrest! After these radical life changes, which also included our oldest graduating high school, I was back at the old self-reflection thing and also realized that, aside from the Headstart program, there were no true preschool options in our area, despite an obvious need for one. That eventually led me to the decision to open a Montessori school in our community!

I wanted to be sure I had the appropriate background and foundation, and fortuitously found Montessori Live and the Administration Certificate! I now have all the groundwork in place, but we’re still searching for the perfect location, so we’re currently aiming for a Fall 2023 start date.
